Dr. H and Dr. E are active contributors to the advancement of orthodontics through research, education, and professional service. They have authored numerous publications in leading peer-reviewed orthodontic and craniofacial journals and are active members of the American Association of Orthodontists, and the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association.

In addition to their research, they serve as peer reviewers for several top tier scientific journals, including the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, The Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Journal, International Orthodontics, and Evidence-Based Dentistry.
